River City: Rival Showdown, a previous 3DS exclusive, set to be released October 12th for Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and Steam, will come with two brand new modes, not available on the 3DS original.
The new mode will put you in the shoes of Rikki with a brand new tale. According to the Official Site in Rikki's mode, you will "follow the protagonist and witness his side of what went down during the four-day period of the River City incident. What was he up to all that time?" This mode will be unlocked after beating Yamada's campaign but if you happen to have a saved game from River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, this mode will be unlocked from the start.
Rival Showdown will also feature a versus mode for two players and Yamada story, both available in the 3DS Version, making this a very complete package.
