Arc System Works announced today that the former 3DS exclusive, River City: Rival Showdown is coming to consoles and PC. Arriving on October 12th, the game will offer a different take on the River City Ransom formula, giving the player more freedom and the option to choose your own path and get different endings, that vary accordingly to your actions.
River City: Rival Showdown was initially released on the 3DS in 2016 in Japan, and arrived in the West on the following year. Now, Arc System is bringing it to Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Steam (Arc is not a fan of Xbox, since River City: Three Kingdoms also skipped Microsoft's machine). Additionally, Arc also implemented a mini-fighting game, called Double Dragon Duel, and an online mode.
The game will cost you USD 24,99 and it is available to pre-order on Steam. So far, there's no word about the physical edition, but we will update this story as soon as we get more news.
