Microids announced early this week that the sequel to the 2021 beat 'em up is coming on November 30th. The game, which was announced back in June, will be coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and Playstation both digitally and in physical format.
According to Microids Slap Them All 2 will offer better combat than the previous game, with the addition of the Fury Mode and Ultimate attacks. Players will also be able to break objects in the scenery to create chaos, alongside carrying boxes and barrels to throw at the enemies.
The press release unfortunately does not go deep about the combat, focusing more on how the story will play out and how it is authentic to the franchise. The presents similar visuals to the last one, with beautifully hand-drawn characters and backgrounds, which honestly, can hardly get better than this.
Unfortunately, we were not big fans of the first game here in The Alley, but we are hoping that this second entry will fare better.
